Rogue

Rogue lives with her owners/trainers, Bec and Cas, on the Gold Coast, Queensland. Both Bec and Cas are professional dog trainers, so Rogue is off to a fantastic start in her life. Over the past four months, Rogue has been carefully introduced to a wide range of exposure training in everyday environmental situations, which is expanding her mind beyond belief.

Bec mentions that she is an outstanding learner and absolutely loves training. She has a great off switch at home and is generally neutral with unfamiliar dogs, which I really appreciate. She's an excellent traveler in the car. We sometimes drive for hours to a trial. She handles it like a pro, and her cuteness earns her lots of cuddles from competitors.

Currently, our main focus is Scent Work, and she is an exceptional hunter. I'm thrilled with her independent searching and her stamina for longer searches. Her problem-solving skills are very impressive. In addition to basic obedience and some fun tricks, we are also working on a competition heel.

Rogue is very advanced for her age. Bec, in particular, is thrilled with her progress, as Rogue accompanies her everywhere. She is an absolute asset to their dog training business and serves as an excellent demonstration dog in early scent detection.
