Sammie is from the Lady & Red litter. I chose Sammie as he has such an outgoing personality. He simply adores humans and idolises our contact. This makes it very easy to train him.

He gives 110% every time we step out to train. He has been a very attentive student from day one, he was always stood out amongst the other male puppies of the litter, partially because of his size and always in your face, he’s so curious and wants to know what’s going on.

His simple basic obedience is great, he has started to learn, ‘land single “T”. His stop whistle is good. We have started to introduce ‘double marks’ and ‘basic concepts’ including, ‘2 birds’, and simple ‘memory blinds’ with a ‘basic mark’ added as distraction.

I like his attitude to water and the various challenges I present him, he’s working well, has a good memory and is developing all the foundational skills required of a working Labrador retriever. Plus, he’s a pleasure to have in the house or lying on his bed, watching TV and chilling. Every day is a great day for Sammie!
