Reba

Reba resides near Nowra with her owner and trainer, Una Russell.

Una hails from Scotland, UK, and has a rich background in Field Trialling, primarily on the highlands grouse moor.

Reba has been with Una since she was eight weeks old and has grown up alongside Una's other gundogs, which include German Wirehaired Pointers and a Mini Wirehaired Pointer. Una is a highly skilled and experienced dog trainer, having achieved Field Trial Championship status in the UK with her own homebred GWP.

Reba is thriving and developing well at Una and Peter's small farm in the heart of Bugong National Park. Her foundational training is progressing well, as is her exposure training to various environmental situations and, most importantly, real game and the beautiful countryside, through careful introduction. Reba is a natural in water and enjoys swimming, regardless of the weather!

Reba is quite advanced for her age, maturing and developing her memory. She understands selection and simple doubles, along with all the essentials in a fun manner, such as heeling, steadiness, delivery, whistle work, and handling while working with Una, who is thrilled with her progress. They share a strong bond and adore each other equally.
