Redcypher Sporting Retrievers consistently excel in both breeding, developing exceptionally sound and intelligent sporting dogs, to either compete at the highest level in a variety of dog sport disciplines or be trained as a working dog in a myriad of blue light scent detection activities.
We believe in breeding the very best to the best, breeding from young, healthy sound dogs to produce a great balanced puppy and get them off to the very best start in life, whatever your chosen sporting dog discipline maybe.

BREEDING
Our aim is to breed a Labrador that is fit for purpose, by taking the guess work out of any potential breeding program, by using the most up to date DNA testing methods. Ensuring our stock is free from any hereditary or potential disease and only breeding from sound proven parents. Healthy, great temperament, biddability a will to please with a sound nature are just some of the characteristics we are trying to breed.
TRAINING
Gaining fantastic experience from training overseas and competing in Europe, I am a very experienced dog trainer that is constantly evaluating our retriever training program and adopting new training practices. As dog genetics evolve so have training practices, we regularly attend the latest professional dog training programs, so that we also evolve our training methodology too.
JUDGING
I really enjoy this sport, both sociably and competitively. Not only do I thrive for excellence in training dogs to compete at the highest level, I enjoy training days - both coaching mentoring as well as participating and assisting at trials. I am a Championship Judge, regularly take part in Gun dog training seminars both mentoring and coaching of individuals, also part of the Retrieving and Field Trial Committee.
